Welcome to the facilities and capabilities of the CALCE Electronic Products and Systems Center (EPSC). The CALCE EPSC is a consortium of over fifty of the world's leading telecommunications, consumer, avionics, automotive, semiconductor, and electronics manufacturers. Consortium members and companies outside the consortium often enter into private project and consulting agreements with CALCE for expert assistance and research in advanced electronic systems. This company-specific research, which may be proprietary in nature and can range from a few weeks to several years, is designed to help organizations:

• identify the causes of failure or poor performance in electronic products
• assess and mitigate the risks of producing and incorporating new technologies
• perform lifetime and lifecycle assessments on electronic products
• design reliable components and printed wiring assemblies
• improve product quality and reliability
• reduce time-to-market and time-to-profit
