In December 2011 the Capital Chapter of the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) made a $1000 donation to CALCE in appreciation of the strong connection between CALCE and SMTA. SMTA is an international network of professionals who build skills, share practical experience, and develop solutions in electronic assembly technologies. CALCE faculty, researchers, and students have been very active in SMTA activities over the years, participating in meetings, giving presentations, and jointly hosting conferences. CALCE thanks SMTA for its generous gift and looks forward to continued cooperation with SMTA’s Capital Chapter.
